Feta cheese, a pillar of Mediterranean cuisine, remains immensely popular in regions around the world. This delicately textured cheese is quite smooth, yet remains crumbly for that classic Feta feel and taste. Produced with both goat and sheep’s milk, this Grecian feta is a Protected Designation of Origin (P.D.O) product. Once the curds are pressed, the cheese is brined in saltwater to give the cheese its salty characteristics. Often overlooked as a table cheese, Feta is quite delicious as a clean, bright tasting alternative to cow’s milk cheeses on a cheese board.
